"Live Well, Love More, Tri Hard" Live.Love.Tri

While this may not about Scentsy it is defiantly note worthy!! About a month ago I was searching through the Internet and came across a link to this Live.Love.Tri blog, interested by the name I went ahead and clicked. What I found was a great blog about an all-women's triathlon! So, while I like to think of myself as "semi athletic" (being used pretty loosely here) and the idea of a triathlon sounds like a goal for the distant future, I found this to be a great idea! I have to say I was inspired by their mission statement:

"The mission of live. love. tri. is to help empower women by building their self-esteem and helping women of all ages to recognize their tremendous individual worth. When we help a woman, they help their family, community and shape a brighter future for their children." (taken from http://livelovetri.blogspot.com/)

One of the best parts of this event is not only the bonding experience and empowerment, but the fact that part of the proceeds will be going to Camp Butterfly, an outdoor themed camp for children with special needs in Rio Rancho. 


Okay, so before when I said this didn't have anything to do with Scentsy isn't totally true. I loved this idea so much that I contacted Anna and Kristen (the wonderful ladies who came up with this) and asked if I could be a part of this event in anyway, they agreed! I will be set up doing my Scentsy thing, and donating to Camp Butterfly as well. I encourage all you ladies to come and take part in this event! Get your empowerment on! ;] Haha. 


By the way: This is the perfect example of what I would love to do for everyone who is hosting an event or fundraiser! Scentsy truly makes a great assistant in these types of things. Our company's motto is: "Give more then we take." And that my friends, is what I would like to do!
