Cupcake Warmer Comes Out Tomorrow!

Oh My Goodness! It's Here!

While I really love all of the Scentsy products, I have to say that the upcoming warmer of the Month is by far my favorite! It is more adorable in person than it is in the picture! I just received it last night, and I will be putting it on display at Cottonwood Ranch Apartments Clubhouse along with a few fliers and samples.


This warmer is unique because it is the only three piece Scentsy warmer. I took a few pictures with my phone to show how it works.

 
As you can see, the cupcake top is removable and has holes that let the scent out.


Now for my favorite part... the Scent of the Month, Happy Birthday, smells like birthday cake! It is really a wonderful combination to this adorable warmer.

Peach a la Mode - YUM!!

I am a little late on posting this, but I'm getting it out there all the same!! I received June's Scent and Warmer of the Month a few days ago, and I have to say, I think that Peach a la Mode is one of my favorite scents!!! It doesn't smell much like Peaches but rather Orange Starbursts. As soon as I opened that box I was taken back to summer days as a child, playing in the park, hanging out with my friends, and the scents of Orange Starburst (which I so often had in the summer =P).


I have made plenty of samples, so please let me know if you would like one!


The Warmer is very unique. It takes everything from our beloved flag and puts it into a Warmer. Not to mention, it is one of the few warmers that is shaped like something other then a circle!!

Scavenger Hunt Update!

UPDATE!!! I started classes this week and had a lot more homework then I expected. As a result, the Scavenger Hunt party will be next week on the 28th from 11 to 4. I will still do the Scavenger hunt, and you can get a copy of the list from here or contact me. :D I will also be placing them in various places.

Scentsy Scavenger Hunt

I am hosting a Scentsy Scavenger Hunt this Saturday from 11:00 to 4:00 p.m.!! Here are the rules, I will provide a list of 20 different types of people. Your job is to find and bring as many of the people on the list as possible (keeping in mind that each person will only count towards one category). Once at the party I will write down how many people you brought along with your name, and after everyone has come I will give a special gift to who ever brings the most people! :)

"Live Well, Love More, Tri Hard" Live.Love.Tri

While this may not about Scentsy it is defiantly note worthy!! About a month ago I was searching through the Internet and came across a link to this Live.Love.Tri blog, interested by the name I went ahead and clicked. What I found was a great blog about an all-women's triathlon! So, while I like to think of myself as "semi athletic" (being used pretty loosely here) and the idea of a triathlon sounds like a goal for the distant future, I found this to be a great idea! I have to say I was inspired by their mission statement:

"The mission of live. love. tri. is to help empower women by building their self-esteem and helping women of all ages to recognize their tremendous individual worth. When we help a woman, they help their family, community and shape a brighter future for their children." (taken from http://livelovetri.blogspot.com/)

One of the best parts of this event is not only the bonding experience and empowerment, but the fact that part of the proceeds will be going to Camp Butterfly, an outdoor themed camp for children with special needs in Rio Rancho. 


Okay, so before when I said this didn't have anything to do with Scentsy isn't totally true. I loved this idea so much that I contacted Anna and Kristen (the wonderful ladies who came up with this) and asked if I could be a part of this event in anyway, they agreed! I will be set up doing my Scentsy thing, and donating to Camp Butterfly as well. I encourage all you ladies to come and take part in this event! Get your empowerment on! ;] Haha. 


By the way: This is the perfect example of what I would love to do for everyone who is hosting an event or fundraiser! Scentsy truly makes a great assistant in these types of things. Our company's motto is: "Give more then we take." And that my friends, is what I would like to do!

April showers bring May.... Warmer and Scent of the Month Special!

Of course, as with every month there is always a special on a warmer and scent. While April's was beautiful and feminine, May brings in something a little more masculine. The Magellan Warmer is a unique and one of a kind warmer in shades of brown and gold; outlines of the continents wrap around its base.

I have to say, that this one really is one of my favorites. I hate to push stereotypes like "Only girls like candles". While men may not go crazy for them, I sure know that men like good smells. ;)

Amber Road is also a nice change from the usual. It smells rustic without smelling like cologne.

So, as with all of the monthly specials - the Magellan and Amber Road are 10% off the whole month of May! I personally think they would make a great Father's Day Gift (June 19th!!) So, if you order before the 12th I will wrap it up for free. :)
